Terms of Service

By creating an account or making a purchase on shopifygmc.com you agree to these terms. If anything here is unworkable for you, don't use the service.
1. The service
shopifygmc audits Shopify stores against Google Merchant Center policy and produces compliance reports plus AI-generated fix suggestions. We operate it as a SaaS at shopifygmc.com.
2. Accounts
- You must be 16 or older and authorised to act on behalf of any Shopify store you connect.
- You're responsible for keeping your password secret. Tell us at security@shopifygmc.com if it leaks.
- One person, one account. Members you invite get scoped roles within your workspace.
3. Plans & payment
- Free — 1 store, 1 audit/month, 3 members. No card required, no auto-conversion.
- Starter — $12/month: 3 stores, 10 audits/month, 5 members, weekly monitoring.
- Growth — $39/month: 10 stores, 50 audits/month, 15 members, daily monitoring.
- Agency — $199/month: 50 stores, 500 audits/month, 50 members, white-label PDF.
- Rescue Audit — $29 one-time: a senior auditor reviews your store and ships a written report within 5 business days.
Payments are processed by Gumroad. Their terms apply to the checkout itself. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled; you keep access through the end of the period you paid for.
4. Refunds
- Subscriptions: 14-day money-back guarantee. Email billing@shopifygmc.com or request the refund directly from Gumroad's portal.
- Rescue Audit: non-refundable once the auditor has begun work (we tell you when that is). Cancel before then for a full refund.
5. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to:
- Use shopifygmc to audit stores you don't own or aren't authorised to act for.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the service.
- Resell access without a written agency agreement.
- Upload content that is illegal, infringing, malware-laden, or violates a third party's rights.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse this. Egregious cases (DDoS, fraud, scraping) are referred to law enforcement.
6. Your data
How we handle the data you give us is governed by our Privacy Policy. You own the data; we get a limited licence to use it for running the service. Delete your workspace and the licence ends (we keep only what tax law requires).
7. Service availability
We aim for 99.5% monthly uptime but do not guarantee it. If we're down for more than 4 consecutive hours during a billing period, email billing and we'll credit pro-rata.
8. Third-party services
We integrate with Shopify, Google Merchant Center, an AI provider, and Gumroad. If any of them changes terms, breaks an API, or goes down, that's outside our control — we'll work around it as best we can but we're not liable for their actions.
9. Disclaimers & limits
shopifygmc is provided "as is". Our audit findings and AI-generated fixes are best-effort recommendations — apply them at your own discretion. We do not guarantee that following them prevents a Google Merchant Center suspension or restores one.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — lost revenue, lost data, store suspension, anything downstream.
10. Termination
- You can cancel any time from
/t/<workspace>/billingor via Gumroad. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. - We can terminate for breach of these terms (with notice when feasible) or for prolonged non-payment.
- On termination your data is retained for 30 days for export, then deleted (except billing records, kept 7 years for tax).
11. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes are emailed 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Morocco (where SmartShopAutomation is registered). Any dispute that can't be resolved informally goes to the competent courts of Casablanca. If you're a consumer in the EU/UK, you retain the protections of your local consumer-law jurisdiction.
